Well, that’s a wrap – for us, but not for everyone else. Baggator Nexus has completed Project Omid, supporting the Afghan Refugees over the School Holidays. We’ve handed back to the City Council and Bridges for Communities.
Omicron Covid stopped us from doing what we wanted to do, but thanks to everyone who volunteered, we had some fun and helped break the monotony.
The cooking session at The Pickle Factory gave us a glimpse of what might have been and taught us a thing or two about teamwork. I still cannot get over the fact that 5 Afghan women and a couple of volunteers cooked 120 meals in 4 hours from scratch! With a special Thank You to the very young lady who gave us half the lamb from her Aqiqa.
