Project Omid for Refugees

Well, that’s a wrap – for us, but not for everyone else.

Baggator Nexus has completed Project Omid, supporting the Afghan Refugees over the School Holidays. We’ve handed back to the City Council and Bridges for Communities.

Help the Afghan Refugees enjoy the Christmas Break

The Christmas Holidays are approaching fast. Newly arrived and still trying to make sense of recent events, Afghan Refugees face a bewildering and challenging time. Not only that, but all the people working with the Afghanis need a break.

Help BMCS [Bristol Muslim Cultural Society] and Baggator organise space and fun for the Afghanis over the School Holidays. We need volunteers. The more volunteers, the more fun and relaxation everyone can have.

If you have skills, share them; if you have time, share it. In return, you’ll learn some Pashto and Dari – to get you started, ‘Omid’ means ‘Hope’.”
