What differences are you going to make?
We aim to help the residents of Barton Hill save money on bills and reduce the financial burden of the cost-of-living crisis. We plan to do this by implementing sustainable energy practices in the estate. This will benefit both the environment and the future of our children.

Why are you doing this?
Your community and RADE stopped a diesel power station and built a co-owned community battery storage facility with Thrive Renewables instead. As a thank you for your support, we have set aside funds to develop another energy scheme that will give back to the residents and promotes sustainability in Barton Hill.

This week we are launching our new project, Barton

This week we are launching our new project, Barton Heat!
What is Barton Heat?
We are an organisation that promotes renewable energy and sustainability in Barton Hill's community. We aim to help you transition to renewable energy by providing support throughout the process. By reducing our dependence on fossil fuels, we aim to create a sustainable future and protect the environment.
Over the next few days, we will post more about us and what we aim to do with this project.

Some more photos of the Grand Iftar on St Marks Ro

Some more photos of the Grand Iftar on St Marks Road that took place last Sunday.
Those attending were asked to take their food containers and water bottles home and recycle them. Many of the 2,000 attendees did just that, leaving only six bags of litter.
Thank you to all the volunteers and everyone else that was involved!
